By attending an event or otherwise using IMUG’s services, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, we ask that you refrain from participating in our events or using our services. These terms apply regardless of whether you attend in person or register online.

2. Event Registration

Registration for an event is mandatory. Your registration is not final until you see a success message when filling in a form. Some events may have limited capacity. IMUG reserves the right to prioritize or refuse registrations to ensure group diversity or fairness.

3. Photography and Videography at Events

At most IMUG events, photography and videography may take place. By attending an IMUG event, you agree to the following:

• IMUG reserves the right to take photos, videos, and other recordings during events.
• This material may be used for promotional, educational, and business purposes, including but not limited to publication on our website, social media, updates, and other marketing materials.

4. Intellectual Property

• All materials provided by IMUG, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and videos, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any IMUG content for commercial purposes without written permission from IMUG.
• Content shared by guest speakers remains their intellectual property, unless agreed otherwise.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

IMUG never shares your data with commercial partners. We only use your data for communication around IMUG events and updates.

6. Liability

IMUG is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or theft that may occur during events, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Participants attend events at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings.

IMUG reserves the right to change these terms at any time. We will announce any changes on our website and other communication channels. By continuing to use our services or attending our events after a change, you accept the updated terms.
